West Village Apartment

For a young couple with two small children, the task was to develop a robust living solution from the combination of three adjacent apartments in this unique West Village building. Five separate rooms were unified along the southwest exposure to create a single spacious, loft-like living area comprised of entry, open kitchen, living room, and dining banquette. This central room opens in one direction to a convertible glass-walled office and guest room and in the other to the main bedroom wing, expertly planned to fit three bedrooms and three full baths. Nearly every inch of space reveals hidden millwork to accommodate all the family’s needs, including innovative laundry and powder rooms.
